Professional Flute

Overhaul -

An overhaul at B.T. Bertrem’s will include the complete disassembly of your flute or piccolo. All pads and cork will be removed including the head cork. Your key work will be inspected and any looseness will be repaired and your keys are then re-fit properly on your flute to ensure proper fit. Your springs will be inspected and replaced as needed. Your flute will then be hand cleaned and lightly polished. New felt or cork bumpers will be installed and a new head cork will be fit and installed in your head. New premium pads will then be installed and shimmed to level so there are no leaks. Your flute will then be reassembled, oiled, adjusted and play tested to insure the proper seal and adjustment has been made.

Repad -

A repad at B.T. Bertrem’s will include the complete disassembly of your flute or piccolo. Your flute will then be hand cleaned and new premium pads will be installed and shimmed to level so there are no leaks. Your flute will then be reassembled, oiled, adjusted, and play tested to insure the proper seal and adjustment has been made.

Clean, Oil, and Adjust -

A clean oil and adjust at B.T. Bertrem’s will included the complete disassembly of your flute or piccolo. Your flute will then be hand cleaned. All pads will be inspected and shimmed to level if needed. Your flute will then be reassembled, oiled, adjusted, and play tested to insure proper seal and adjustment has been made.

All other repairs and custom work are charged at shop rate of $75 per hour
